Indian Naval Ships INS Udaygiri, INS Kavaratti, and INS Shakti from the Eastern Fleet successfully concluded their visit to Sattahip Port in Thailand. This visit is a part of India's ongoing operational deployment in South-East Asia to strengthen maritime cooperation, interoperability, and strategic partnerships with regional allies.

The deployment of these warships perfectly aligns with India's SAGAR (Security and Growth for All in the Region) vision, which focuses on promoting a united maritime community, rule-based order, and collective security. During the visit, the Indian Navy engaged in professional and operational exchanges with the Royal Thai Navy. India and Thailand share a robust and historical maritime relationship, regularly participating in joint patrols like the Indo-Thai CORPAT and bilateral naval exercises to secure the critical sea lanes of the Indian Ocean Region.
