Witness how a dormant black hole awakens to outshine an entire galaxy.
Phase 1 of 4
The Dormant Giant
At the center of almost every large galaxy lies a Supermassive Black Hole (SMBH). In a normal galaxy (like our Milky Way today), this black hole is "dormant". There is very little gas or dust nearby for it to consume, so it remains invisible and quiet.
🔭 Observation: Without infalling matter, there is no friction or radiation. The galactic center emits normal starlight.
